BELLEVILLE — A 16-year-old boy was shot to death Monday evening outside his home in Belleville, authorities said.
The victim was Dirico Washington, said St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr.
The shooting was reported about 5:30 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of North 81st Street. Police said he had been shot multiple times.
Dirico died at Memorial Hospital, Dye said.
Police have not said if they have a suspect in the killing.
