ST. LOUIS — A former clothing boutique in St. Louis’ downtown neighborhood owes its landlord over $200,000, according to a recently filed lawsuit.
Last week, Bogen Acquisition sued A Taste of Luxurie in St. Louis County court for failing to pay rent.
Bogen says in the suit that it entered into a lease agreement with A Taste of Luxurie in 2019 for space at 1215 Washington Avenue.
A Taste of Luxurie, which sold men and women’s clothing, accessories and shoes, agreed to pay monthly rent until November 2026, the suit claims.
But A Taste of Luxurie hasn’t kept up with the agreement. Last October, the boutique owed Bogen $76,508, the suit says.
Bogen has also demanded rent through the end of the lease, totaling $167,058.
In all, Bogen Acquisition claims that A Taste of Luxurie and its owner Tiana Jones owe $243,566.
