The travel-weary Blues returned home on a high note Saturday after defeating the Minnesota Wild 5-1 in St. Paul, Minn.
Jordan Kyrou scored a hat trick to lead the way for the Blues. Brayden Schenn had a goal and an assist, Jake Neighbours scored and Cam Fowler, Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich each had two assists.
Joel Hofer made 19 saves while winning his first career start against the Wild.
The Blues went 3-2-1 during their span of six straight road games. ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ will play five of their next six games at home, starting Sunday night against the Anaheim Ducks.
That game will start at 7 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. due to issues with the team charter jet.
The Blues lost their first three games against Minnesota this season but they caught the Wild playing shorthanded with star winger Kirill Kaprizov, top center Joel Eriksson Ek and key defenseman Jonas Brodin all injured.

Blues earn early advantage
The Blues sustained early pressure with each forward line earning offensive zone time and creating low-to-high opportunities.
Schenn put the Blues up 1-0 at the 4:17 mark. He crashed the net to deflect Fowler’s shot from the left point, then he outmuscled Frederick Gaudreau to convert the rebound.
The Blues applied more pressure on the power play. Buchnevich pounded a shot from the weak side, Justin Faulk fired a shot into traffic from the right point and Kyrou had a sharp angle opportunity from the left flank.
With the game back to 5-on-5, the Blues earned still another great chance — but Dylan Holloway hit the inside of the right post with a shot from the slot through Schenn’s screen.
The Blues allowed just five shots and four scoring chances in the first period. ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ won 10 of the 15 faceoffs and earned a 2:01 edge in offensive zone time.
Blues convert two more rebounds
The Wild tilted the ice against the Blues early in the second period and put the first four shots on goal.
Zach Bogosian nearly tied the game with a shot from the right point past Hofer’s glove and off the inside of the right post.
Then the Blues regained control of the game and increased their lead to 2-0 on Neighbours’ goal. After Thomas won another offensive zone draw, he eventually got a point-blank opportunity set up by Buchenvich.
That shot was blocked, but Neighbours banged in the rebound.
The Blues made it 3-0 after another offensive zone faceoff win and another low-to-high offensive play. Fowler sent the puck down to Schenn, who attempted a cross-crease pass to Holloway.
The pass didn't get through, but Kyrou rushed in to convert the rebound.
But just as the Blues appeared to have total control of the game, a mishap briefly let the Wild into the game.
Hofer left the net to retrieve the puck, then he made an aggressive outlet pass to Kyrou in the middle of the ice. Kyrou turned the puck over and Wild defenseman Jake Middleton scored into the empty net before Hofer could return to the crease.
Kyrou made amends in the third period by increasing the Blues' lead to 4-1. He chipped the puck ahead, flew up the right wing, circled the net and tucked a wrapraround goal inside the left post.
Then he made it 5-1 with an empty-net goal to complete the hat trick.
