ST. LOUIS — Former Alderman Jeffrey Boyd is scheduled to plead guilty next Friday in U.S. District Court in a bribery case against him and two other ex-aldermen, according to court records.
Boyd would be the second former alderman to plead next week in the case; John Collins-Muhammad's guilty plea hearing is set for Tuesday.
Boyd's lawyer confirmed there's a plea agreement but he declined further comment.

Boyd, Collins-Muhammad and former Board of Alderman President Lewis Reed were indicted in June on charges of accepting cash bribes in exchange for helping push legislation granting businesses tax abatements. Boyd also intervened to help a businessman purchase real estate from the St. Louis Land Reutilization Authority.
