It's a new year, and January brought snow and ice to the St. Louis region, in addition to a few new restaurants or additional locations. This month, a new Peacemaker Lobster & Crab location – in partnership with 4 Hands Brewing Co. – opened at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Meanwhile, St. Louis favorite La Pizza expanded to St. Charles in January, bringing its signature New York-style pies to a second location. The beloved pizzeria, which first opened on Delmar Boulevard in 2003, has been a local favorite ever since.
Unfortunately, the new year also brought a wave of closures, including Dado's Cafe in St. Louis Hills and Taqueria Morita in the Central West End, among others. These beloved spots will be missed.
