´¡³¾±ð°ù±ð²ÔÌýChief Executive Warner Baxter got a near-maximum bonus last year, boosting his total compensation to $8.5 million.
Baxter's pay, detailed in a filed March 19, was up 4.6 percent from $8.1 million in 2017. He got a salary of $1.14 million, bonus of $2.35 million and stock valued at $4.56 million.
The bonus was 196 percent of Baxter's target value, close to the maximum of 200 percent. A formula based on earnings, safety and reliability measures would have paid him 185 percent of the target amount, but the board increased the bonus using an "individual performance modifier."
Seventy percent of the stock award is performance-based, tied to total shareholder return between 2018 and 2020. Previous year's stock awards were completely performance-based, but the company added a time-vested portion last year.
