Blues forward Mathieu Joseph is expected to be back in the lineup on Thursday night when St. Louis hosts the Panthers, returning after missing Tuesday's game vs. Edmonton with an illness.
But while Joseph could be back, forward Alexandre Texier will be out because he is sick. The Blues recalled forward Mackenzie MacEachern from AHL affiliate Springfield on Wednesday night as insurance in case they need a forward.
Blues coach Jim Montgomery said MacEachern will participate in warmup on Thursday.
Defenseman Tyler Tucker will miss his second game with an upper-body injury. Joel Hofer will start in goal.
