Republican presidential nominee former President Donald Trump was the target of an "attempted assassination" at his golf club last Sunday in West Palm Beach, Fla., the FBI said, nine weeks after he survived another attempt on his life. As Trump golfed, Secret Service agents saw an AK-style rifle sticking through the bushes. An agent fired and the gunman, later identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, fled in an SUV, leaving behind the gun and two backpacks, police said. Routh, 58, was arrested a short time later and charged with possessing a firearm despite a prior felony conviction and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number. No one was injured. Above, law enforcement officers arrest Routh last Sunday in Martin County, Fla.
